Floor Sales Associate
The duties of the Sales Associate are to drive sales by providing world class customer service by demonstrating and encouraging Northwest Hardware’s core values in order to achieve our vision of being the place that our communities can rely on.
Floor Sales Associate Job Responsibilities:
- Serves customers by helping them select products.
- Drives sales through engagement of customers, suggestive selling, and sharing product knowledge.
- Greets and receives customers in a welcoming manner.
- Responds to customers’ questions.
- Directs customers by escorting them to the desired products.
- Provides outstanding customer service.
- Conscious of shoplifting activity and reports to management immediately.
- Alerts management of potential security issues.
- Assists with inventory, including receiving and stocking merchandise.
- Maintain awareness of all promotions and advertisements and provide this information to customers.
- Continually works on increasing knowledge of the products we sell and their uses.
Physical Requirements:
- The minimum physical requirements for this position include but are not limited to:
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds frequently to load and unload customer orders.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to hear, understand and communicate orally and in writing to communicate with staff and customers a normal in-person and phone conversation.
- Ability to bend and twist, push, and pull, stoop, and kneel.
- Ascend and descend ladder.
- Ability to work at heights.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
