Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential or commercial spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Maintain cleanliness of floors through proper care techniques such as carpet cleaning and floor polishing.
- Handle laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing as needed.
- Ensure all sanitation protocols are followed to promote a healthy environment for residents or visitors.
- Assist with basic cooking tasks or kitchen cleaning when required to support overall facility maintenance.
- Manage janitorial supplies inventory and notify management when supplies need replenishing.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing any cleaning-related requests or concerns promptly and professionally.
Requirements
- Proven experience in residential cleaning, custodial work, or commercial cleaning environments.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including carpet cleaning and floor polishing.
- Familiarity with sanitation standards and proper cleaning procedures.
- Previous hotel housekeeping or housekeeper management experience is a plus.
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, and carpet cleaners safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Good communication skills with a friendly attitude toward residents or clients.
