Security Officer FULL TIME

Position: Full-Time Security Officer
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM (40 hours per week

We are seeking a professional, dependable, and confident Full-Time Security Officer to protect our client's property and enforce site rules. This position is best suited for someone who is comfortable interacting with the public, handling confrontational situations professionally, and making sound decisions under pressure.

Primary Responsibilities

• Patrol and monitor assigned property.
• Maintain a visible security presence to deter criminal activity.
• Enforce property rules, policies, and procedures.
• Professionally approach individuals violating property rules and direct them to leave the premises.
• Issue trespass warnings and remove unauthorized individuals from private property in accordance with company policy and applicable laws.
• Contact law enforcement when necessary.
• Complete detailed daily activity logs and incident reports.
• Respond to alarms, disturbances, suspicious activity, and emergencies.
• Represent Cortiana Security in a professional manner at all times.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to stand, walk, and drive for extended periods throughout the shift.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Strong verbal communication and conflict de-escalation skills.
• Must be comfortable confronting individuals, directing them to leave private property, and issuing trespass warnings when necessary.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during verbal confrontations.
• Must be willing to work overtime as needed.
• Flexible schedule is required. Shift times and days may change based on operational needs, and the selected candidate must be willing to assist with schedule coverage.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must successfully pass a background check and drug screening (if applicable).
