Positions Available:
ELA-4 positions
Math-4 positions
Science-4 positions
Counselor-1 position
Dates/Hours:
July 6th - July 30th
Monday - Thursday with weekly meetings and Pre and Post-Work
8:30 am – 1:15 pm
Subject to change based on student enrollment; start and stop times
Salary: $40.00/hr (DESE Licensed); $30.00/hr (Non-Licensed)
Organizational Relationship
or Line of Authority:
Directly responsible to the Bridge Summer Coordinator/or the Building Principal and/or his/her designee
Statement of Duties:
- Prepare curriculum, pre and post - assessment of students, schedule and plan activities in accordance with the Massachusetts State Curriculum Frameworks.
- Work as a member of a coordinated program with other teachers.
- Possess a working knowledge of differentiated learning to ensure students’ success.
- Maintains summer grade book.
- Completes daily attendance.
- Responsible for other duties as indicated by directives of the Superintendent of Schools or his/her designees; and policies of the Haverhill School Committee.
Qualifications:
- Licensed by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education 5-12 in subject area being taught.
- Minimum of three years teaching at the high school level.
