Position Summary
The Installation Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating installation projects from start to finish. This role ensures that installations are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to company quality standards. The Installation Manager supervises installation teams, sub-contractors, and manages schedules, also communicates with clients to ensure satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, schedule, and oversee installation projects
- Supervise and support installation technicians and subcontractors
- Ensure all installations meet safety regulations and company standards
- Coordinate with Home Assessment Team and clients
- Conduct site visits and inspections before, during, and after installations
- Manage project timelines and resolve delays or issues
- Monitor inventory, tools, and equipment needed for installations
- Train and mentor installation staff
- Maintain accurate project documentation and reports
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
- Warehousing duties as needed
- Review job packets for proper install practice and material ordering
- Customer relations delivering a Five Star Experience.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent experience
- Proven experience in installation, construction, or a related field
- Previous supervisory or management experience
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Valid driver’s license
- Knowledge of common and general building codes
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of safety regulations (e.g., OSHA standards)
- Job scheduling experience
- Technical expertise related to computers, iPads or cellular devices
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit at a desk and work on a computer for extended periods
- Occasional standing, walking, bending, or reaching to access files or office equipment
- Manual dexterity to operate a keyboard, mouse, phone, and standard office equipment
- Auditory ability to hear and participate in conversations, phone calls, and virtual meetings
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Requires bending, lifting, and moving materials throughout the shift.
- Ability to stand, walk, climb, kneel, and bend for extended periods
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to safely operate hand and power tools
- Ability to navigate active construction sites, including uneven terrain, mud, gravel and unfinished surfaces
- Adequate vision and hearing to perform essential job functions and maintain safety
Pay: $80,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
