We are hiring part-time caregivers for every-other-weekend shifts at our assisted living facility in Chilton, WI.
- AM Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM | $20.00 per hour
- PM Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM | $20.50 per hour
- 8-hour shifts
- Every-other-weekend schedule
Job Description
Havenfield at Chilton Senior Living is seeking dependable caregivers to assist residents with daily living activities. Caregivers are responsible for providing personal care, assisting with mobility, administering medications, and maintaining accurate resident documentation.
Previous caregiving experience is preferred but not required. Training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and other personal care needs.
- Assist with walking, transfers, and mobility.
- Use gait belts, sit-to-stand equipment, and Hoyer lifts as needed.
- Administer medications according to physician orders and facility procedures.
- Obtain and document vital signs.
- Complete electronic resident documentation using ECP.
- Monitor residents for changes in condition and report concerns.
- Maintain resident privacy and confidentiality.
- Follow infection control and safety procedures.
- Maintain a clean and safe resident environment.
- Communicate with coworkers and supervisors regarding resident needs.
- Respond appropriately to resident emergencies.
- Perform other assigned caregiving duties.
Qualifications
- Ability to work a consistent every-other-weekend schedule.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass required background checks.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Basic computer skills for electronic documentation.
- Ability to perform physical caregiving duties, including standing, walking, bending, and assisting with resident transfers.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Dress Code
- Scrub top and scrub pants.
- Closed-toe, non-slip shoes.
