What is the EEOICPA?
The EEOICPA (Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation Program Act) under the United States Department of Labor has a free (to eligible energy workers) program to completely cover the medical costs of energy workers such as uranium miners, millers, and haulers or beryllium workers from the Cold War era.
This program also provides monetary compensation for damages suffered. Illnesses include, but are not limited to radiation-induced cancers and beryllium-related illness.

Responsibilities
- Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessments using OASIS data elements
- Develop, implement, and adjust individualized care plans with patient and physician input
- Document all observations and treatments accurately in compliance with agency policies
- Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations
- Provide emotional and physical comfort considering patient rights and cultural background
- Communicate changes in patient condition and unusual reactions to physicians promptly
- Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and performance improvement activities
- Adhere to all agency policies and procedures at all times
- Visit patient for 4 hours per week
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience
- Valid Nursing License in the state of Arizona
- Level 1 AZ Fingerprint Card
- Part Time Days - 24 hours per week
- Strong skills in patient assessment
- Knowledge and compliance with HIPAA privacy regulations
- Proficiency in clinical documentation using EHR systems
