Overview
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of design principles. This role involves collaborating with lead Interior Designers and helping to facilitate and manage projects from concept to completion.
Duties
- Utilize software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Studio Designer to create detailed design plans and specifications.
- Attend site visits to help assess spaces and ensure designs are implemented correctly during the construction phase.
- Coordinate with vendors and industry partners to ensure project timelines are met.
- Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies related to interior design.
- Data Entry, Place Orders, Expedite Orders, Arrange Shipping
- Schedule and Attend Vendor Meetings
- Maintain and Update Client Files
Skills
- Proficiency in interior design software including AutoCAD, Revit, and Studio Designer is essential.
- Strong understanding of lighting design principles.
- Knowledge of color theory and its application in interior spaces.
- Excellent budgeting skills to manage project costs effectively.
- Ability to build strong relationships with lead desiners, team members, vendors and industry partners through effective communication.
- Creative problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail in both aesthetics and functionality.
