What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nurse Practitioner – Infusion (FT) position at Haven Infusion?
Full time | Flint, Michigan | From $110,000 per year
Target start date: On or before March 16, 2026. Please apply soon if interested.
Our current Nurse Practitioner described this as the only job she has truly loved.
This is a role for a Nurse Practitioner who values autonomy, takes pride in running a clinic well, and wants their work to be meaningful.
Precision over volume. Depth over churn. Ownership over hand-holding.
You will lead a clinic. Master biologic infusion therapies. Build long-term patient relationships. Practice independently within clear protocols, supported by a strong team.
We deliver biologic infusion care for patients with chronic autoimmune conditions.
More than 50 million Americans live with autoimmune disease. Care is often fragmented. Small failures create long delays. Patients lose momentum. Providers lose trust.
We built Haven to set the new standard for infusion care: calm, rigorous, and reliable.
Our Flint clinic has been open nearly a year and is already a trusted partner in the local medical community.
We’re hiring a Nurse Practitioner (NP) to serve as the clinical lead at our Flint, MI location.
You’ll own:
- Patient Care & Infusion Excellence – Lead the full patient arc from pre-review to follow-up. Confirm readiness before mixing. Prepare, administer, and monitor infusions with strict safety protocols. Educate clearly. Build longitudinal relationships with patients you see regularly.
- Clinical Systems & Documentation – Track labs, policies, and expirations without fail. Identify and close upstream gaps before they reach the chair. Deliver precise, complete documentation. Strengthen workflows over time.
- Medication & Compliance Stewardship – Protect drug integrity from receipt to administration. Dose accurately. Prevent wastage. Maintain inventory and temperature controls. Operate within full regulatory standards.
- Clinic & Provider Leadership – Run the day-to-day clinic within protocol. Maintain a calm, structured environment. Communicate decisively with referring providers. Maintain PRN readiness. Elevate Haven’s local credibility.
You will serve as the lead on-site clinician, practicing independently within protocol with access to collaborating physicians and a strong support team. This is a predictable Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule with no standing call and no weekend clinic hours.
Target outcomes
Success in this role means:
- Clinical Precision Without Compromise – Infusions delivered safely and deliberately. No preventable adverse events. No preventable medication wastage.

- Closed-Loop Communication – Documentation is complete and timely. Questions from patients, providers, and team members are clarified and resolved without delay.
- Durable Patient Trust – Patients feel informed, confident, and supported. They return consistently and recommend Haven due to your care.
- Provider Reliability & Credibility – Referring physicians experience precise coordination and clear updates. Haven becomes known for clinical excellence in our target therapies.
