Role Description
This is a Contingent position (12-16hrs per month), on-site role located in Detroit, MI for a Residential Coach. The Residential Coach will be responsible for day-to-day support and supervision of residents, facilitating trauma-informed care, assisting with daily living activities, conducting regular check-ins, and implementing individual care plans. The role also involves coordinating with other team members to ensure comprehensive support and participating in ongoing training to enhance skills relevant to the position.
Qualifications
- Skills in Trauma-Informed Care and Understanding of Human Trafficking/Commercial Sexual Exploitation
- Experience in Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology
- Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills
- Ability to Develop and Implement Individual Care Plans
- Team Coordination and Collaboration Skills
- Strong Organizational and Time Management Skills
- Knowledge of Basic Needs Support and Daily Living Assistance
- Commitment to Continuous Learning and Professional Development
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field is preferred
