Duties
- Supervise and mentor licensed clinicians, including LCSWs (Licensed Clinical Social Workers), LMFTs (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists), and LPCCs (Licensed Professional Clinical Counselors), ensuring high-quality patient care and adherence to best practices
- Oversee clinical assessments, diagnostic evaluations, treatment planning, and documentation to maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and medical record standards
- Provide direct clinical counseling services, including individual, group, family therapy, and specialized interventions such as behavioral therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and applied behavior analysis (ABA)
- Manage intake processes, patient assessments, crisis intervention, and case management for diverse populations including children, adolescents, adults, and seniors with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), PTSD, Alzheimer's disease, addiction issues, and other mental health conditions
- Lead clinical team meetings, conduct performance evaluations, coordinate training sessions on topics like trauma-informed care and EMR systems, and foster a positive work environment focused on professional development
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to mental health services while maintaining accurate medical documentation and medical terminology records
- Collaborate with community agencies for home & community care initiatives and hospital-based programs to enhance patient outcomes
Qualifications
- Current licensure as an LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC required; supervisory certification preferred
- Proven experience in behavioral health settings with expertise in child & family counseling, crisis management, working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder (ASD), Alzheimer’s care, PTSD care, addiction counseling, pediatrics, and hospital environments
- Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing techniques, and group therapy modalities
- Demonstrated leadership skills with supervising experience in clinical settings; ability to motivate teams and manage multiple priorities effectively
- Familiarity with EMR systems for data collection, medical records management, patient care documentation, intake procedures, and case management workflows
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to conduct comprehensive patient assessments and deliver empathetic clinical counseling
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and security of medical records and sensitive information
