Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to medical staff and ensure the comfort and well-being of patients.
Duties:
- Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and toileting
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staff
- Provide basic patient care under the direction of nursing staff
- Assist in the maintenance of a safe and clean environment for patients
- Support patients in various healthcare settings including pediatrics, urgent care, and memory care units
- Perform catheter care and assist with medical-surgical procedures
- Utilize eClinicalWorks or similar electronic health record systems for documentation
Skills:
- Experience in pediatrics, urgent care, memory care, or medical-surgical settings
- Proficient in catheter care and patient service techniques
- Knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology
- Ability to lift and move patients safely
- Familiarity with eClinicalWorks or similar electronic health record systems
- Strong patient care skills and compassion for individuals in need
