Position Overview
Haven Interior & Construction Design is seeking a skilled and reliable Field Installation Technician to support our growing team. This role is essential to bringing our design visions to life, ensuring that installations are executed with precision, professionalism, and attention to detail. The ideal candidate is hands-on, dependable, and comfortable working in a variety of residential and commercial environments.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with the installation of furniture, lighting fixtures, and décor; performing light maintenance and repairs; and managing product delivery, setup, and site cleanup. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Travel to client homes and offices for installation projects
- Assemble and install furniture, lighting fixtures, and design elements
- Perform basic maintenance tasks and minor repairs as needed
- Handle packaging disposal and trash removal to maintain clean job sites
- Collaborate closely with the design team to execute installations accurately
- Maintain tools, equipment, and organized workspaces
- Follow all safety protocols and ensure a professional, client-focused experience at all times
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, candidates should meet the following requirements:
- Experience in furniture installation, light construction, handyman work, or a related field
- Proficiency in using basic tools safely and effectively
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow installation plans and directions
- Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift and move items up to 100 lbs
- Willingness to travel up to 75%
- Professional appearance, strong work ethic, and problem-solving abilities
