We are seeking talented Full-Time Mental Health Intake Specialist to join our team!
Position Summary:
- Completes mental health screenings for inpatient psychiatric admission.
- Receives and responds to call inquiries for potential admissions and generalized questions.
- Obtains the required information to facilitate mental health admissions.
- Makes referrals for persons who are not appropriate for admission.
- Completes pre-authorization of services.
- Welcomes patient(s) and completes paperwork upon arrival to mental health facility.
Qualifications:
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Bachelor's Degree preferred
Certifications/Licenses:
CPI/CPR per policy. Current licensure or certification, preferred, by discipline.
Experience:
Mental health screenings and mental health experience preferred.
Experience with crisis management or intake preferred.
