Job Overview
Seeking an experienced Property Maintenance Manager for daily execution of maintenance activities across a large apartment complex. This position will regularly require contact with community residents and requires professional communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with Property Manager to address daily maintenance requests, maintain building grounds, and complete special projects to enhance property's curb appeal.
- Provide handyman services such as painting, fixture replacement & basic carpentry.
- Act as go-between for onsite contractors and property manager, assisting with interpreting technical issues, scoping job quotes, and troubleshooting.
- Assist in diagnosing and implementing maintenance repair procedures for mechanical systems, electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, and other building infrastructure.
Requirements
- 5 years of experience in on-site property maintenance in an apartment complex, condominium or office building strongly preferred.
- Excellent project management and communication skills.
- The ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and complying with OSHA safety standards.
- Ability to communicate fluently in English is required. Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
- Technical certifications such as electrical, plumbing licenses, HVAC or general contracting licenses are highly desirable for consideration. However, the compensation is based on duties.
Pay: From $45,000.00 per year
