Position Summary:
- Ensures that the daily operations of the Social Services are patient-centered and efficient.
- Secures data for submission to director as directed for performance improvement activities.
- Ensures that social services that are in adherence to established policies and procedures.
- Demonstrates a coaching model to assist in the development of subordinates.
- Maintains a caseload by providing patient care as outlined in the Social Service Staff job description when necessary to fulfill the responsibilities of the department.
- Participates in the weekend rotation and provides coverage for absences.
Qualifications:
Education: Master’s Degree in Social Work
Experience:
- Three years program and/or service management experience working with clinical multidisciplinary teams.
- Five years social work experience with at least one-year experience working with behavioral health population s in an acute care setting.
- Clinical training in evidence-based training.
Certifications/Licenses:
- Full clinical licensure preferred.
- Licensure, as determined by State, required to complete the essential job functions of the position.
- CPR/CPI Certified per policy.
