POSITION SUMMARY
- Oversees the operations of the Nursing department, including the delivery of nursing services.
- Actively participates in the Performance Improvement and Risk Management programs.
- Interprets accreditation and regulatory standards and implements processes to ensure compliance.
- Develops and implements goals, policies and protocols.
- Serves as the Infection Prevention/Control Officer. Responsible for providing oversight and direction for the hospital Infection Prevention Program.
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program, Master’s preferred.
EXPERIENCE: 5 years of psychiatric nursing experience, with minimum of 3 years consisting of management/administrative/director of nursing experience.
