Schedule: 3x12, Days (7a-7p), Rotating Weekends

Our MST unit offers a premier environment to hone your critical care skills and serves as a foundational stepping stone for future careers in Intermediate Care (IMC) or the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Experience a supportive professional culture with a favorable 1:6 patient ratio, based on patient acuity, that allows you to focus on quality outcomes and professional growth. The Medical-Surgical Department at Havasu Regional Medical Center is a 40 bed unit.


How you’ll contribute
A MST RN who excels in this role:
  • Performs plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments.
  • Documents patient care and monitors patient condition, communicating with care team, physician, patient, and family.
  • Coordinates patient care across disciplines, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and support needs.
  • Advocates for the physical and emotional well-being of patients.

What we’re looking for

Applicants should have a current Arizona or Compact State RN license and possess an Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:
  • Education: Bachelor of Science (BSN) preferred
  • Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire; ACLS, PALS, and Handle with Care preferred.
