Havasu Olive & Garlic Company is a locally owned specialty gourmet food store featuring over 2,000 artisan products, including Ultra Premium Extra Virgin Olive Oils, authentic balsamic vinegars, specialty oils, spices, sauces, pasta, teas, chocolates, gourmet pantry items, and specialty foods from around the world.

Our team members do much more than ring up purchases—they educate customers, create memorable tasting experiences, recommend products, inspire new recipes, and help customers discover their next favorite ingredient.

We're looking for someone who is friendly, dependable, motivated, eager to learn, and passionate about delivering exceptional customer service.

Position Available

We are currently hiring one Part-Time Gourmet Food Sales Associate.

This position averages 15-25 hours per week, with opportunities for additional hours as business needs increase—especially during our busy season (October through March).

Applicants must be available for:

• Morning shifts beginning at 8:45 AM
• Some evening shifts until 6:15 PM
• Weekends
• Occasional fill-in shifts when needed

What You'll Do

As a Gourmet Food Sales Associate, you'll help create a welcoming and enjoyable shopping experience by:

• Welcome every customer with a friendly, positive attitude.
• Build relationships by providing personalized recommendations based on customers' tastes, cooking goals, and interests.
• Create an engaging tasting experience by serving samples and educating customers about our products.
• Learn our products and confidently answer customer questions.
• Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system while accurately processing transactions.
• Maintain accurate cash handling procedures.
• Receive merchandise and follow company check-in procedures.
• Unload deliveries, stock shelves, and replenish merchandise.
• Maintain attractive product displays and a clean, organized sales floor.
• Assist with inventory, merchandising, and daily store operations.
• Work independently while also contributing as part of a team.
• Follow company policies, procedures, and direction from management.

Retail and/or customer service experience is preferred but not required. We are happy to train the right person.

Physical Requirements

This is an active retail position. Applicants must be able to:

• Stand for extended periods throughout the workday.
• Frequently bend, reach, squat, and climb step stools.
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Assist with unloading pallets and stocking merchandise.
