What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tax Analyst position at Havas North America, Inc.?
We are seeking a Tax Analyst with a minimum of 3 years of experience to join our Tax team. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in Federal and Multi-State tax compliance. This individual will be working closely with both the tax director and tax manager on preparing tax returns and assisting in tax compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare the Company’s consolidated federal and multi-state tax returns accurately and efficiently.
- Demonstrate knowledge of IAS37 and ability to prepare income tax accrual calculations.
- Assist the Tax team in tax year-end and mid-year financial reporting requirements, including, but not limited to, the reconciliation of tax accounts, preparation of tax basis balance sheets, and taxable income forecasting.
- Work with the Tax team on special projects as they arise, including tax minimization strategies.
- Interact with the company’s finance, treasury and legal groups, as well as group operating companies.
- Assist the Tax Group in handling Federal, State, and Local tax audits and notices.
- Maintain the tax compliance calendar.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, taxation, or related field.
- 3 years of tax experience in public accounting or a corporate tax department.
- Knowledge of OneSource Suite (OIT and OTP). Other working knowledge of computerized tax software programs will be appreciated.
- Proficiency with Excel
- Strong written and verbal skills
- High attention to detail
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
- CPA a plus
The salary range for this role is $80,000 - $90,000 annually, DOE.
