Havas Media Network North America, the Media Experience agency, is looking for an SVP,
STRATEGIC PLANNING (freelance) to join the STRATEGIC PLANNING TEAM, part of our global community of 10,000 team members who are focused on using Meaningful Media to make a meaningful difference to brands, businesses, and people.
The role is temp and should run through July to start. Pharma experience is a must.
The SVP, Strategic Planning is responsible for excellence in Planning product across larger clients and the agency. They are masters in effectiveness principles, data, content, and work hand in glove with other disciplines to deliver industry leading work. SVP, Strategic Planning manages a team of VPs and creates a team culture of excellence, pushing media owners, investment, and new core to create brilliant client work. They spot gaps in our planning toolkit and work with the product team to fill them.
A DAY IN THE LIFE MIGHT LOOK LIKE:
Driving Excellent Work
• Creates a long-term and progressive vision of what best in class comms should be
for our top clients.
• Ensures all client work connects culture to commerce, providing a base for New
Core Services.
• Designs and run workshops at a cross-agency level in pursuit of better work.
• Converged champions across each team and can demonstrate the data in all
responses.
• Develops awards programs for clients and pushes team to fulfill them.
• Partners with key media owners to deliver break through and pioneering work.
• Accountable for ensuring the team are focused on delivering case studies that
demonstrate brilliant data led planning.
• Translates the latest trends into meaningful media planning opportunities.
Shaping Agency Excellence
• Accountable for ensuring the team is trained and using the tools effectively and
efficiently.
• Accountable for ensuring all direct reports are pushing data and evidence-based
planning through client work.
• Oversees the VP team in media planning training for Director and below – creating a
culture that is focused on the work, is proactive and leaned in, and
• Creates training for the VP community that inspires brilliant strategic planning.
• Works with Product team to develop planning toolkit for the agency.
• Demonstrates thought leadership and represents HMN on panel and industry
thought pieces.
• Consistently demonstrates team leadership by empowering and evolving the teams
through a spirit of accountability.
Growth
• Runs point for large pitches.
• Consistently makes significant impact in upselling new core services to clients in
tandem with Client Experience team.

Salary : $150 - $165
