Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages (mainly beer, wine, and some wine-based spirit cocktails) ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
- Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their overall experience and promote beverage sales
- Manage cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, including processing payments and giving correct change
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
- Develop new beverage recipes and experiment with mixology techniques to keep the menu fresh and exciting
- Monitor inventory levels of spirits, beers, wines, garnishes, and supplies; restock as needed to ensure smooth service flow
- Collaborate with kitchen staff during events such as banquets or catering functions to coordinate food and beverage service seamlessly
Qualifications
- Proven experience in bartending within fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or hospitality environments; cocktail experience is essential
- Strong knowledge of spirits, wine varieties, craft beers, mixology techniques, and beverage recipe development
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; cash handling skills are required
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and energetically
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently through effective time management and organizational skills
- Experience in food handling, food safety standards, and sanitation practices in the food service industry
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and retail math calculations during service
