Guest Relations Team Member – Job DescriptionPosition Summary
As a Guest Relations Team Member, you are the first impression guests have of our venue. Your primary responsibility is to provide a welcoming, friendly, and efficient experience from the moment guests arrive. This includes greeting guests, checking IDs, applying wristbands, answering questions, and ensuring guests enter the venue safely and quickly.
This role requires a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a team-first mentality. Guest Relations staff are expected to assist wherever needed, whether helping with venue operations, maintaining clean public areas, or supporting other departments during busy events.
Key ResponsibilitiesGuest Arrival & Entry
- Greet every guest with a friendly and professional attitude.
- Check valid identification and issue the appropriate wristbands.
- Scan tickets or assist with entry procedures as directed.
- Answer guest questions and provide directions throughout the venue.
- Maintain a welcoming atmosphere while enforcing venue policies.
Line Management
- Move guests through entry lines quickly, safely, and efficiently.
- Keep lines organized and prevent bottlenecks.
- Communicate clearly with guests to ensure a smooth entry process.
- Monitor guest flow and notify management of any concerns or delays.
Venue Support
- Assist bartenders, servers, security, or management when additional help is needed.
- Help keep public areas clean, organized, and presentable throughout the event.
- Monitor and tidy restrooms by restocking supplies, removing trash, and reporting maintenance issues.
- Pick up trash and assist with general venue cleanliness to ensure an excellent guest experience.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support overall venue operations.

Scheduling Expectations
This position offers flexible scheduling based on event needs.
- Shifts may range from 2 to 4 hours for smaller events.
- Larger events may require shifts of up to 5 hours.
- Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is expected.
Qualifications
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Previous customer service, hospitality, or event experience is preferred but not required.
