We are seeking a motivated and safety-conscious Dump Truck Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. Responsibilities
- Operate dump trucks with manual 18 speed or 8 speed transmission and other heavy-duty vehicles.
- Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment like forklifts or truck-mounted cranes, ensuring secure handling of cargo.
- Drive routes to deliver materials accurately within designated schedules while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of trucks, including checking brakes, tires, lights, and fluid levels to ensure vehicle readiness.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and site personnel to coordinate deliveries and resolve any logistical issues promptly.
Skills
- Proven experience driving commercial vehicles
- Ability to operate manual 18 speed transmission vehicles confidently and handle various truck types including refrigerated trailers and flatbeds.
- Excellent driving record with a focus on safety and compliance with transportation regulations.
Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
