Position Summary:
The Project Manager is responsible for the overall project direction, completion, and financial outcome for assigned projects. With guidance from the Branch Manager, this role will manage projects on a day-to-day basis, assessing all risks and project change requests to produce the required deliverables of quality, within the specified constraints of time and cost for successful project completion.
Job Duties
Manage all aspects of assigned projects including client relationships, scope, cost, and schedule and job efficiency from start to finish.
Be the focal point of all client communications.
Establish, build, and maintain relationships with clients to sustain existing and create future revenue streams.
Know the plans, specifications, and contractual requirements for all assigned projects.
Make sure safety is the team's priority and promote quality in workmanship.
Assist in contract review for all assigned projects.
Identify, clarify, and document changes from initial project objectives and scope of work to support the change management process.
Prepare, review, and submit in a timely fashion all payment requisitions, equipment submittals, change requests, and closeout documentation as per project requirements.
Partners with Purchasing Manager to negotiate purchase orders with vendors and subcontractors.
Attend all job-related meetings.
Update project status in the company's ERP system on a regular basis and ensure that project financials reported to accounting are accurate.
Responsible for keeping all deadlines, deliverables, budgeting, and open lines of communication throughout the organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree: Electrical Engineering, Construction Management preferred.
- 5-8 years experience preferred.
- Prior construction experience a plus.
