- Company based in Middlesex County, most work in the Northern Neck
- Lead and supervise a team of carpenters on construction projects
- Plan and coordinate carpentry tasks, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, or other materials
- Install cabinets, moldings, doors, windows, and other fixtures
- Perform repairs or modifications to existing structures as needed
- Ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations
- Collaborate with other tradespeople and contractors to complete projects
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a carpenter
- Proficient in various carpentry techniques and tools
- Strong knowledge of construction materials and methods
- Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Good communication and leadership abilities
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks
