Job Title: FULL- TIME Beautician
Location: Hattiesburg Health & Rehab
Position Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Beautician to provide hair care and grooming services to our residents. The ideal candidate enjoys working with seniors, creates a welcoming and comfortable environment, and helps our residents feel their very best.
Responsibilities:
- Provide haircuts, styling, shampooing, coloring, and other salon services to residents
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized salon environment in accordance with health and safety standards
- Build positive relationships with residents, ensuring services are delivered with patience, kindness, and respect
- Schedule and manage resident appointments efficiently
- Maintain salon equipment and report any needed repairs or supplies
- Collaborate with nursing home staff to ensure residents’ needs and preferences are met
Qualifications:
- Current cosmetology/beautician license in the state.
- Previous experience as a beautician, preferably working with older adults
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Patience, compassion, and the ability to make residents feel comfortable
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
