Hattie Larlham is looking for caring and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) who want to be part of a mission based on Comfort, Joy, and Achievement for adults and children with intellectual/developmental disabilities.

Opening

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
• Schedule: Nights, 12-hr shifts, every other weekend and holiday required.
• Location: Nestled in northern Portage County, between Cleveland and Akron, is the Hattie Larlham Center for Children with Disabilities, a long-term intermediate care facility that provides medical services for 124 children and adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities.

What You’ll DO

• Flexible scheduling to ensure a work/life balance.
• Utilize, maintain and grow your nursing skills!
• Provide autonomous care to adults and children with intellectual/developmental disabilities.
• Administer medications.
• Care for ventilator dependent individuals.
• Participate in provider rounds.
• Make recommendations to the medical team based on your assessments.
• Receive training to help you feel confident in your abilities and skills.
• Feel appreciated by the residents, families, staff and Administration.
• Be mentored by nurses who love to share their knowledge with newcomers and new grads!

Requirements

• Ohio or multistate Licensed Practical Nursing licensure required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR certification within first 30 days in role.
• Valid Ohio driver's license.
• Available to work 24-36 hours per week. EOW/EOH required.
