About the Role
As a Nurse Practitioner in this high-acuity setting, you’ll assess, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with a wide range of urgent and emergent conditions. You’ll collaborate with a skilled team of physicians and clinical professionals while exercising independent clinical judgment in a fast-paced, supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and physical exams
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses and injuries
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including labs and imaging
- Prescribe medications and develop personalized treatment plans
- Assist with procedures and respond to medical emergencies
- Provide patient and family education on care plans and follow-up
- Document clinical encounters accurately and promptly
Qualifications
- Active Nurse Practitioner license (or eligibility) in the state of practice
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in emergency medicine and/or urgent care
- New graduates will not be considered
- Strong diagnostic and procedural skills
- Ability to thrive in a high-volume, team-based clinical setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
