Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of all areas including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning equipment and chemical agents.
• Operate floor buffers, scrubbers, vacuums, and other custodial tools to maintain spotless floors and surfaces.
• Handle chemical agents safely by following proper handling procedures and safety protocols to prevent accidents or contamination.
• Conduct routine janitorial tasks such as trash removal, dusting, mopping, sweeping, and disinfecting surfaces to ensure sanitation standards are met.
• Assist with light maintenance duties including minor repairs, painting touch-ups, and facilities upkeep as needed.
• Follow safety guidelines during heavy lifting or manual handling tasks to prevent injuries and ensure safe working practices.
• Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and report any equipment malfunctions or supply shortages promptly.

Requirements

• Proven custodial or janitorial experience in commercial or residential settings.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation procedures, and the proper use of cleaning equipment such as floor buffers and industrial vacuums.
• Ability to handle chemical agents safely by adhering to chemical handling safety procedures.
• Physical stamina for heavy lifting, manual handling, and prolonged periods of standing or walking.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently throughout each shift.
• Customer service-oriented attitude with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour
