Quality Auditor - Afternoon and Midnight Shift

Hatch Stamping Company is looking a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Auditor to join our metal stamping facility. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in maintaining our high standards of quality throughout the production process.

Responsibilities (This section is not inclusive. Other duties may be assigned as necessary).

• Perform destructive testing
• Perform quality audits in various areas, including receiving, work-in-process, secondary, containment, and final inspection stages.
• Identify, report, and document non-conformances, implementing corrective actions to prevent further processing or recurrence of quality issues.
• Verify and inspect incoming materials and products to ensure they meet established quality specifications.
• Maintain accurate and timely data entry in the computer system, supporting effective quality tracking and reporting.

Qualifications and Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of quality procedures and industry standards specific to metal stamping.
• Understanding of necessary Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) requirements.
• Proficiency in using measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, digital and dial indicators, height gauges, and check fixtures.
• Basic blueprint reading skills.
• Fundamental knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC).
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency in data entry and quality management systems.
