ETL Tester

Location: Minneapolis, MN (2–3 days onsite per week)

Work Authorization: USC/GC Only

Type: Contract

We are looking for a Senior ETL Tester with strong healthcare client experience in validating large datasets, automating test workflows, and ensuring the accuracy of cloud-based data pipelines. The ideal candidate is hands-on, analytical, and comfortable working across AWS data services.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform end-to-end ETL and data validation across multiple data pipelines.
• Write complex SQL queries to verify data accuracy, completeness, and transformations.
• Build Python-based test scripts to automate regression tests and data checks.
• Work across AWS services to validate data ingestion and transformation workflows (including Glue, Redshift, and DataBrew).
• Conduct data profiling, identify inconsistencies, and work with engineering teams to resolve defects.
• Document test plans, test cases, and validation logic clearly.
  
  

Required Skills

• Strong experience in ETL testing and large dataset validation
• Expert-level SQL for data comparison, transformation checks, and complex query logic
• Python scripting for automation of data tests
• Hands-on experience with AWS data tools, including
• Understanding of data warehouses, data models, and quality checks
• Ability to identify data issues, perform root cause analysis, and communicate findings clearly
