Candidate Skills and Responsibilities
- 7 years of experience in data architecture, data warehouse, and business intelligence environments
- Strong expertise in enterprise data governance, data stewardship, metadata management, and data quality frameworks
- Advanced SQL skills with deep understanding of RDBMS concepts, performance optimization, and data modeling
- Experience architecting internet and client-server systems across multiple platforms
- Broad IT knowledge covering application development, servers, networks, databases, and integration platforms
- Proven ability to lead architecture and design discussions across complex, multi-technology environments
- Strong communication, process mapping, documentation, and presentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously under tight timelines
- Payer experience
- Experience with Snowflake data platforms
- Exposure to or hands-on experience with Epic data environments (strong plus)
- Experience with Health Catalyst analytics platforms
- Familiarity with Qlik or similar BI/visualization tools
- Lead enterprise data architecture, design, and deployment efforts across multiple technologies and systems
- Establish and enforce data standards, naming conventions, definitions, and business rules across the enterprise
- Sponsor and guide evaluation and selection of data management tools and infrastructure components
- Collaborate with data governance bodies and data stewards to drive enterprise-wide data improvements
- Ensure synchronization and integration of data across multiple entry points and platforms
- Lead data warehouse modeling, integration, and solution design discussions
- Define and implement data quality and validation strategies, including point-of-entry controls
- Perform and oversee data audits, data profiling, and mass data cleansing initiatives
- Identify data quality issues (accuracy, consistency, completeness, integrity, uniqueness), perform root cause analysis, and implement remediation plans
- Participate in deep-dive technical evaluations to understand data flow, system interactions, and business processes
- Ensure project management and SDLC activities include appropriate deliverables to support high-quality data outcomes
- Required: High School Diploma
- Preferred: Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related business/technology field
