What are the responsibilities and job description for the C# Backend Developer position at Hatch Pros?
Must be local to DC area or open to relocate (east coast ONLY)- 2-3 days onsite in Washington, DC.

- 3-5 years experience.
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Applied Mathematics, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Proven experience as a backend developer using C# and the .NET framework.
- Strong proficiency in C#, including asynchronous programming and LINQ.
- Experience developing and maintaining RESTful APIs.
- Experience integrating backend services with front-end applications.
- Hands-on experience with numerical computation, mathematical modeling, or algorithmic problem-solving.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented design and software architecture principles.
- Proficiency with Git or other version control systems.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills, especially for numerical or performance-critical tasks.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Experience with grammar or expression parsing, such as converting user-defined formulas into executable C# functions.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies (e.g. TypeScript, React) for integration support.
- Knowledge of macroeconomics, econometrics, or other quantitative disciplines.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Experience with testing frameworks and continuous integration tools.
