We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Pizza Maker and Store Manager to lead our vibrant pizza shop. Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas, ensuring each meets quality standards and presentation expectations making like 21 to 24 hours a week. The rest is running the store.
- Manage daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory control, and staff scheduling
- Lead a team of kitchen staff and dietary aides, providing training on food preparation, safety protocols, and customer service excellence
- Plan menus that cater to diverse tastes while maintaining consistency and creativity in pizza offerings
- Ensure strict adherence to food safety regulations, proper food handling, and sanitation practices throughout the kitchen
- Oversee food preparation processes, including ingredient portioning, knife skills, and meal assembly to optimize efficiency
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace that promotes safety and productivity while fostering a positive team environment
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food industry roles such as restaurant chef, dietary aide, or culinary professional with a focus on food preparation and cooking
- Strong background in kitchen experience including knife skills, meal preparation, and food handling techniques
- Prior managerial experience in a retail or restaurant setting is highly desirable
- Knowledge of menu planning, catering services, and fine dining standards is a plus
- Familiarity with food safety protocols and sanitation standards required for food service environments
- Excellent leadership abilities with the capacity to motivate staff and manage daily operations effectively
