Schlotzsky's is looking for crew members. They are responsible for cooking all food orders in an efficient and attractive manner.
Role and Responsibilities
- Responsible for food preparation following standardized recipes
- Create meals according to menu and recipes as set by supervisors
- Ensure all food is handled and cooked in a sanitary manner
- Maintain kitchen and supply room in a sanitary and organized fashion
- Follow plate presentation specifications as directed
- Inform supervisors of any kitchen problems
- Maintain and promote a team environment at all times
- Provide courteous service to our guests and be cordial to all team members
- Follow company guidelines and procedures
- Performs additional responsibilities, although not detailed, as requested by a manager at any time
Job Requirements
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and managers
- Position requires prolonged standing, bending, stooping, twisting, lifting products and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to stand up for at least an 8-hour shift
- Work with hot, cold, and hazardous equipment
