Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our dynamic healthcare team. Schedule
6:00am to 6:00pm x3 a week
Every other weekend

Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and comfort.
- Monitor and record vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates accurately using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Support medical procedures by preparing patients, maintaining aseptic techniques, and assisting with tasks such as catheter care and medication administration under supervision.
- Facilitate patient transfers utilizing equipment like Hoyer lifts and ensure safe manual handling practices are followed at all times.
- Observe and report changes in patient condition promptly to nursing staff or physicians, especially in critical care or emergency medicine settings.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations and document all care activities thoroughly in medical records.
- Provide emotional support and effective communication tailored to patients’ needs, including those with dementia or behavioral health challenges.
Qualifications
- Valid certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) from an accredited program.
- Experience working with diverse populations such as geriatric patients, individuals with developmental disabilities, or those requiring memory or hospice care.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, and basic life support (CPR) procedures.
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR/Epic/eClinicalWorks) systems for accurate documentation.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including heavy lifting and safe patient transfers while adhering to safe lifting practices.
- Prior experience in specialized areas such as ICU, emergency medicine, long-term care facilities, or hospital medicine is highly desirable.
- Strong caregiver communication skills with a compassionate approach to patient service.
