- SUMMARY: Compiles and maintains Accounts Payable Records by performing the following duties and responsibilities:
- Assists with special projects as necessary.
Knowledge of office procedures, basic accounting, and Microsoft Office products.
Ability to operate calculator, PC Computer, and telephone system.
Checks, codes and approves all payable transactions and prepares accounts payable checks.
Prepares invoices and deduction notices as necessary.
Audits freight bills against manifests.
Prints all accounts payable reports and maintains all accounts payable files.
Prepares Analysis of accounts as required.
Assists in monthly closings.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Education and/or Experience: Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or three months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Must lift and/or move up to 10 pounds frequently and 25 pounds occasionally. Specific vision abilities required including close and distant vision and ability to adjust focus.
