We are seeking reliable and hardworking individuals to join our team as Production Workers at Hastings Hide Inc. This role involves processing animal hides, operating machinery, and maintaining a safe and efficient production environment.
Responsibilities
- Sort, trim, and process raw hides according to company standards but not limited
- Operate and monitor production equipment and machinery
- Load and unload materials and products
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
- Inspect products for quality and report any defects
- Assist team members and supervisors as needed
- Follow safety protocols diligently and maintain a clean, organized work area.
Skills
- Prior factory or manufacturing facility experience is a plus but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and work efficiently in a team environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
- Willingness to work around strong odors and raw materials
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Strong work ethic and reliability
