Accounting Manager - Bilingual

Bilingual Accounting Manager with a strong accounting and financial reporting background to handle a non-traditional accounting role. Oversee accounting, fund accounting, investment operations, reporting, investor servicing, and financial controls for investment fund.

YOUR BACKGROUND:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• Strong accounting background.
• Excellent English plus Spanish or Portuguese.
• Strong understanding of financial statements and general accounting principles.
• Experience in fund administration, private equity, venture capital, investment management, financial services, audit, RIA, or family office strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of fund accounting, financial statements, reconciliations, tax reporting, and investment operations.
• Advanced Excel skills and comfortable working with large and complex financial datasets.
• Strong accounting software and overall technology proficiency.
• Exceptional numerical and analytical ability.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to independently identify inconsistencies or errors.
• Have a strong interest in technology and continuously look for ways to reduce manual work, improve controls, and increase the accuracy and efficiency of the firm's operations.

YOUR ROLE IN THE COMPANY:

Fund Accounting & Financial Reporting

• Act as a primary operational liaison between company and its third-party fund administrators and accounting providers.
• Review quarterly fund financial statements and fund-level accounting activity.
• Coordinate and process payment of fund-level vendors and service providers.

Fund Operations

• Assist with the day-to-day operational activities of managed funds and investment vehicles.
• Coordinate fund transactions with administrators and internal teams.

Technology & Process Improvement

• Work toward how financial and operational information is managed.
