Requirements
- Valid CDL
- Minimum 2 years of car hauling experience (required)
- Clean MVR (required)
Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers in compliance with DOT regulations and all traffic laws
- Load, secure, and unload vehicles using proper equipment and securement methods
- Inspect vehicles and equipment before and after transport, reporting any issues or damage
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance
- Plan and manage efficient routes to meet delivery schedules
- Maintain accurate logs, delivery records, and transport documentation
- Communicate with dispatch, customers, and team members regarding loads, timing, and updates
- Ensure cargo is properly strapped and secured to prevent shifting or damage
- Handle bills of lading and other required paperwork for each shipment
- Perform basic routine maintenance checks on hauling equipment
Qualifications
- Proven experience in commercial car hauling is required
- Strong knowledge of load securement and DOT safety regulations
- Ability to operate independently and manage time effectively
- Strong communication skills and professional reliability
- Experience with tractor-trailers and long-haul routes preferred
