Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher Floater to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering a positive learning environment for students. This role involves supporting where needed. Covering for lunch breaks, bathroom breaks, cleaning, helping in the kitchen, answering the door and helping children during arrival and dismissal.
Responsibilities
- Manage classroom behavior effectively until the teacher returns to class.
- Provide support for students.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all students, particularly in toddler care settings.
Skills
- Experience working with students in an educational setting is essential.
- Strong classroom management skills to maintain order while teacher is out of the room.
- Effective behavior management techniques to address various student needs.
- Excellent communication skills to engage with students, parents, and colleagues effectively.
Job is from 1 pm - 6 pm Monday-Friday. Please do not apply if you can not come consistently every day to your shift.
- Knowledge of childhood development theories and practices is highly desirable.
