What You Will Do
Education: High school diploma required; associate or bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field preferred
Experience: 2 or more years of administrative experience, preferably in a public accounting or tax environment
Technology: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel; experience with tax software is a plus
Skills: Strong attention to detail, clear communication, solid organizational skills, and a team-first approach

What You Will Do
- Prepare and maintain client tax files, including engagement letters and supporting documents, under the supervision of the Tax Operations Supervisor.
- Track and monitor tax return workflow to ensure timely completion and submission, updating workflows as necessary and communicating discrepancies to the Tax Operations Supervisor.
- Coordinate client signatures for e-file authorization forms and other required documents.
- Respond to client inquiries regarding tax return status and documentation needs.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail related to tax notices and client correspondence, and scan client documents as needed.
- Assist with client onboarding and support tax professionals with scheduling, correspondence, and general administrative tasks.
- Maintain confidentiality and compliance with firm policies and regulatory standards at all times.
