As a Food Service Worker WG-7408-2, your typical work assignments may

Include The Following Under Supervision

• Prepares or assists in the preparation of hot and cold meat and
  
  

vegetable dishes, beverages, salads, sandwiches, pie fillings,

simple bakery items, salad dressings, and/or other similar food

items, as appropriate to the position.

• Conveys food and supplies from various food service areas by
  
  

carrying or utilizing a mobile cart.

• Sets up food service, kitchen, or salad area facilities, equipment
  
  

and utensils, under detailed instruction and in accordance with

specific area needs; checks food temperatures and/or prepares areas

for daily operations; may operate cooking or bakery equipment as

assigned.

• Able to clean, remove parts and reassemble; to recognize obvious
  
  

wear or need for repairs; and to take care not to damage equipment.

• Loading, unloading, and cleaning food carts and food warmers.
• Required to assist in stacking food or subsistence items in the
  
  

storeroom.
