Duties

  • Patrol designated areas to deter crime, enforce laws, and maintain order.
  • Respond promptly to emergency calls, accidents, and incidents requiring immediate attention.
  • Conduct thorough criminal investigations by gathering evidence, interviewing witnesses, and preparing detailed reports.
  • Utilize surveillance techniques to monitor suspicious activities and ensure community safety.
  • Apply first aid and CPR when necessary to provide critical assistance in emergencies.
  • Manage conflict situations with professionalism and effective conflict resolution strategies.
  • Enforce laws related to immigration, animal control, loss prevention, and security protocols.
  • Perform vehicle operations including driving patrol cars safely under various conditions.
  • Handle animals appropriately during incidents involving stray or aggressive animals.
  • Document all activities accurately through comprehensive report writing for legal and departmental use.
  • Lead community engagement initiatives to build trust and promote safety awareness.

Experience

  • Must have current TCOLE Peace Officer License.
  • At least 21 years of age.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage stressful situations effectively.
  • Knowledge of criminal investigation procedures and law enforcement practices.
  • Proficiency in report writing with clear attention to detail.
  • Skills in surveillance techniques, conflict management, and animal handling are advantageous.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required for patrol duties.
  • Familiarity with laws related to immigration, animal care, and loss prevention enhances your effectiveness in this role. Pay: $65,000.00 per year
