About the Role
Client is seeking a hands-on Assistant Controller (CPA) to support the Corporate Controller across technical accounting, reinsurance accounting, accounting policy, internal controls, and tax coordination.
This is an outstanding opportunity for a Big 4 Senior/Manager or an insurance accounting professional ready to take on broader ownership in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
What You’ll Do
✔ Lead technical accounting research and application of US GAAP—with emphasis on ASC 944 (Insurance)
✔ Support financial close, monthly reporting, and financial disclosures
✔ Provide analytical support for management reporting packages
✔ Develop, maintain, and enhance accounting policies & procedures
✔ Partner cross-functionally on reinsurance, internal controls, and tax matters
What We’re Looking For
🎓 Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
🧾 CPA Required — must verify credential state
📈 4 years of progressive accounting experience
🏢 Strong background in insurance / reinsurance / warranty accounting
📚 Deep understanding of US GAAP, including ASC 944
