Position: Desktop Support Specialist
Location :: Elgin IL, 60124, Onsite
Shift: Monday - Friday 9 AM to 5 PM
Job Summary
Seeking a Desktop Support Specialist. In this role, you will be resolving technical issues, supporting end-users, and maintaining our computer systems.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to end-users by diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues promptly and efficiently.
- Troubleshoot software problems across various operating systems including Windows, macOS.
- Manage computer hardware assets, including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals.
- Configure and maintain computer networks such as LAN,VPN , DNS , firewall settings, and TCP/IP protocols to ensure secure connectivity.
- Assist with user account management using Active Directory and handle help desk tickets.
Education:
- High School Diploma
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
