Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Fort Worth, TX, for a Real Estate Development Manager. The individual in this position will oversee real estate development projects from inception to completion, including finding land, conducting feasibility studies, securing financing, negotiating contracts, managing design/construction with architects and contractors, obtaining permits, preparing and managing budgets.
The position requires strong business, finance, and project management skills to turn raw land or existing buildings into profitable assets.
Additional responsibilities include coordinating with stakeholders, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, and overseeing financial aspects of projects to meet organizational goals and timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Sourcing: Scout and acquire land or buildings for development or renovation.
Financial Management: Develop budgets, secure funding (loans, investors), and manage project finances.
Planning & Design: Collaborate with architects, engineers, and designers on project plans.
Permitting & Legal: Obtain necessary permits, approvals, and ensure compliance with local regulations.
Construction Oversight: Hire and manage contractors, oversee construction progress, and negotiate contracts.
Stakeholder Management: Coordinate with landowners, investors, community members, and internal teams.
Credentials.
Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business Administration or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus) and experience in real estate development or a related field.
