Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as scheduling daily tasks, preparing simple meals, cleaning personal space, and going out into the community to make meaningful connections
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with cooking while maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in the living environment
- Support clients during community outings or activities to promote social engagement and independence
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided, patient progress, and incident reports in compliance with HIPAA privacy standards
- Perform light cleaning duties to uphold a safe and hygienic environment in a private home setting
Experience
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism demonstrates your ability to adapt care strategies effectively
- Familiarity with creating and following personalized care plans ensures tailored support for each individual
- Proven ability to work compassionately with seniors or individuals with developmental disabilities demonstrates your dedication to quality caregiving
