Has Morgan Industries is looking for a Truck Driver - Houston Route to join our team in the La Joya, TX area.
Responsibilities:
- Operate company truck in accordance with federal and state regulations, company safety policies and procedures, and transportation requirements while maintaining vehicle in good repair.
- Maintain truck by cleaning, keeping, and organizing the interior and exterior.
- Report any mechanical or electrical problems to the shop or to management.
- Complete logs and reports as required.
- Perform other duties as required.
- All responsibilities will be around Houston area
- 2 days out of town
Skills:
- Ability to drive 20 pounds of cargo (baggage) up and down flights of stairs or over rough terrain.
- Ability to drive a manual transmission (steering wheel on the driver's side).
- Good judgment, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
- Good organizational skills.
- Ability to pass pre-employment tests as (hand) traffic sign examiner.
- Valid driver license with a good driving record.
- No more than 2 moving violations within the last 3 years.
- CDL Driver experience more than 3 years
